EDNA’s research activity is driven to advance knowledge and is undertaken as ‘action research’ in which the researcher is an active participant meeting the needs of industry, entrepreneurs and other members of the community. In addition to sharing our research with the communities in which we work, we also present and publish our findings at seminars and in academic journals and conferences.

Our major research projects are focused on:

  1. Understanding entrepreneurial activity
  2. Understanding entrepreneurial impact
  3. Creating stronger entrepreneurial communities

Our research seminars are focused on entrepreneurship in remote, rural and social contexts.

Our research publications cover a range of empirical and theoretical foci and have been published in various journals, book chapters, reports and conferences.
